Use of images
Unless the Client expressly opts out in writing at the time of booking, the Photographer (including any associates) retains the right to use images captured during the Client’s session for portfolio display, website content, social media, marketing, and promotional materials.
deposit & cancellation policy
A non-refundable deposit equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the total session fee is required at the time of booking to secure the session date. This deposit is fully refundable only if the Client cancels at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled session time. Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of the session will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

copyright and client license
The Photographer retains all copyrights and intellectual property rights in all images produced during the Client’s session, whether delivered or not. Upon final payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, store, and use the delivered images for personal use only. The Client may not sell, edit, alter, filter, publish, or use the images for commercial purposes without the Photographer’s prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted remain the exclusive property of the Photographer.
payment terms
A non-refundable deposit equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the total session fee is required at the time of booking to secure the session date. The remaining balance is due no later than the start of the scheduled session. Failure to submit payment as required may result in cancellation of the session at the Photographer’s discretion. Any returned payments, chargebacks, or disputed transactions will incur all associated fees, which shall be the Client’s responsibility.

rescheduling policy
Clients may reschedule their session once without penalty if notice is provided at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance. Rescheduling within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled session time may result in forfeiture of the deposit and require a new deposit to secure a new date. The Photographer reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to weather conditions, unsafe locations, illness, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases, the Client may reschedule without penalty.
photographer delay/inability to perform
In the event the Photographer is unable to perform the services due to illness, emergency, equipment failure, or any other unforeseen circumstance beyond reasonable control, the Photographer will make every reasonable effort to secure a qualified replacement. If a replacement cannot be secured, the Client’s deposit and any payments made will be refunded in full, and no further liability shall be incurred by the Photographer. The Photographer is not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from failure to perform.

limitation of liability
The Photographer shall take reasonable measures to provide high-quality images; however, the Photographer’s liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising from the services provided—including, but not limited to, loss of images, equipment malfunction, or events outside the Photographer’s control—shall be limited to the return of all payments received from the Client. The Photographer is not responsible for injuries, property damage, or losses incurred at the chosen location. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Photographer from any claims arising from participation in the session.
client cooperation clause
The Client agrees to arrive on time and to cooperate fully during the session. The Photographer is not responsible for poor-quality results arising from lack of cooperation, lateness, refusal to participate, disruptive behavior, or failure to follow instructions. If the Client or any participant behaves in a manner that the Photographer determines to be unsafe, inappropriate, or obstructive, the Photographer may end the session immediately without refund.
